Season's Greetings to One and All from IIS Family
SEASON’S GREETINGS TO ONE AND ALL FROM IIS FAMILY
Christmas is the time of sharing cheer and gifting goodness. This festive season IIS had events lines up to mark the occasion special.
The glittering Christmas Tree at the lobby was just the start. Corridors were decorated with mobiles of red socks, each with the names of students ensuring their deeds of goodness. Wreaths of varied material and creative best hung alongside making a magical stretch of hallways. Classrooms with nativity cribs and colourful balloons, buntings and bells added to the festive spirit. Santa Claus and his two elves on the rounds caught children spellbound and wanting for more. Snowman in white paper cones popping out of the wall was another innovative sight.
Card and wreath making were activities portraying children’s artistic ability. Carol singing, an inter house competition was enthralling and tough on judges’ decisions.
Besides cheer and goodness, instilling humility and charity in children was the reason celebrating the season.
Director Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal and Vice Principals wished the students and staff a happy holiday season. To share the merriment of the festive season a cake was cut by the director and was enjoyed by the staff members. Overriding every other emotion, a wave of cheer and festivity enveloped the school.
