ICSK KHAITAN STUDENTS’ VISIT NATIONAL LIBRARY OF KUWAIT

The students of the Indian Community School Kuwait, Khaitan paid a visit to the National Library of Kuwait as part of celebration of Indian Culture which was jointly organized by the National Library of Kuwait and Embassy of India on December 21^st and 22^nd 2015.

The General Manager of the National Library of Kuwait Mr. Kamel AL-Abduljalil delivered the welcome speech in which he described the rich cultural heritage of India and also highlighted the very old relationship of Kuwait and India. It was followed by the speech of guest of honour Mr Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India. He also mentioned about the co-operation and similarities of both the countries.

The screening of the documentary film India a Profile was launched in the library auditorium. After the opening ceremony there was an exhibition of Indian culture and art like paintings, costumes of different designs and patterns, handicrafts and jewellery were displayed.
