FAIPS BOY SATYANSH MANI TRIPATHI SHINES IN KUWAIT OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Satyansh Mani Tripathi, class VII student of FAIPS (DPS)  created hitory on March 16^th, 2016  by becoming the 1^st Indian to lift Kuwait Open U13 boys title in Kuwait Open Tennis tournament orgainized by Kuwait Tennis Federation. In a congratulatory  message issued by his highness the  Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Mr Sunil Jain said ”….Satyansh has made the whole Indian community in Kuwait proud with his achievement….”

In an exciting final Satyansh overcame some stiff resistance from No 2 seed Mohsen Jamal but eventually sealed the match 9-5 for the title. In the semifinals he overpowered top seed Mohammad Zaqi 9-2.

Satyansh also has an AITA U12 Talent search title to his credit which he won in Patna in the year 2014.Till date he participated in two AITA tournaments and his current all India U12 AITA ranking is 467

Satyansh has also been part of FAIPS winning teams in Kuwait CBSE tennis clusters from 2013-2016 and has represented FAIPS in CBSE Nationals thrice from 2013-15, both in Team & individual events.

A good Table Tennis player as well, Satyansh was also part of FAIPS U14 Table tennis team which won CBSE Kuwait clusters to qualify for CBSE Nationals in 2015.
