IIS ‘Hindi Divas’

India International School celebrated ‘Hindi Divas’ with great passion and vigor. School organized special assemblies with the noble aim of creating an ambience filled with love and respect towards our national language. The senior section organized a special Hindi assembly on September 14th 2014. Megha Suresh delivered a speech in Hindi and Chinnu Susan gave some tips about safety for girls. It was followed by a dazzling dance performance, recitation, and jokes and riddles in the form of a quiz. Mrs. Alka Shukla, the former head of the Hindi department spoke about the importance of Hindi in our daily life. Section Vice Principals Mr. Saleem and Mrs. Indulekha spoke to the children. It is followed by address by the Principal and vote of thanks by Mrs. Syeda Zehra, HOD, Hindi Department.
Class III-IV observed the day on September 15th 2014.In the special assembly organized, students of class IV spoke about the importance of Hindi and students of class V presented a stunning dance performance. Sr. Vice Principal Mrs. Narender Kaur addressed the school and pointed out the importance of our national language and motivated everyone to speak in Hindi. Mrs. Sreedevi and Mrs. Thilakam also spoke to the children.
