Mothers Day Celebrations 2014-15

India International School celebrated Mothers Day with lot of enthusiasm around 46 countries around the world. It is a celebration honouring mothers and motherhood, the unconditional love of mothers and their influence in society. Mothers are our guiding force and are responsible for making us who we are. To generate this special feeling in our students and to give them a chance to show their mothers we at IIS Kindergarten celebrated Mother’s day on 8^th May, 2014. The celebrations started in the morning assembly in which a special dance performance was performed by the kindergarten teachers. A poem was also recited by Aaravtanmay of UKG-A in four different languages showing the sentiments of a child for his mother. After the assembly, the students were engaged in making handmade gifts to their mothers and also they created a certificate of appreciation to their mom and titled it as World’s Best Mom Certificate.

Director, Malayil Moosa Koya and Principal, F.M. Basheer Ahmed, congratulated the KG Head Mrs. Yogeetha Thomas and Creative Head Mrs. Nilofar Qazi and said, although India International Schools Kindergarten’s year is filled with celebrations, it is their philosophy to keep them meaningful and reverent.
