GOOD MANNERS WEEK AT IIS
GOOD MANNERS WEEK AT IIS
“Mans manners are a mirror in which he shows his portrait.”
In today’s fast-paced ,technology- driven society where e-mails and texts have largely replaced face –to- face interactions and rude behaviour such as people barking into cell phones in public places or texting at the dinner table are increasingly common, teaching children good manners is something that is more crucial than ever.
One of the most important jobs we have as teachers is to help our children develop social skills, show them how to interact in a polite manner with people and teach them to treat others with respect.
Adhering to this concept, kindergarten world of IIS organized “Good Manners” week from 4th May to 8th May 2014. The main ideology at IIS is to take manners and etiquettes to rather higher level than mere “Thank you” and “Please”.
Indeed! Organizing informative session and conducting enriching activities from the root level has been the hallmark of our school. This stands as a testimony that India International School aims at over all development of a child with proper intensive grooming to tread comfortably on the road of excellence with confidence and potential.
