ICSK JUNIOR COMMENCES NEW ACADEMIC YEAR WITH ‘SATRARAMBH’

Students of ICSK Junior Branch commenced the new academic year 2014-2015with benchmarking assemblies‘SATRARAMBH’, held in the second week of April.The event was planned in separate segments to accommodate the students of LKG to class VI.Solemn, thematic assemblies, with a difference, provide rich learning experience on the educational values which the students must have in their formative years.

The assemblies began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran and the school prayer. To invoke the blessings of the Almighty Lord, the traditional lamp of knowledge was lit. To respect and understand the rich secular heritage and religious tolerance of our Matrubhumi, verses from all religions were recited. The meaningful thought for the day in the assemblies included value education for all of us to reflect. To remain a valuable student of ICSK, a few easy to follow rules and regulations were effectively communicated.

Melodious group songsand vibrant dances echoed the theme of the special day. Principal in-charge Mrs. SherlyDennis, in her address, advised students to nurture the habit of reading and further appreciated and applauded theenthusiasm of all participants and teachers.She also asked the children to remain happy with a smile.

The special assemblyconveyed the message to the students that each new day signifies a new beginning.
