 Steamed Rolled Oats Idli
Ingredients:

• 50 gms oats

• 25 gms semolina

• 30 gms sour curd

• 10 gms green beans

• 10 gms carrot

• 10 gms green beans

• 10 gms green peas

• 5 gms chopped coriander

• Salt to taste

• 0.5 gms fruit salt

• 0.5 gms mustard seeds

• 2 gms green chillies

• 20 ml clarified low fat butter

• 10 gms chutney powder

• 15 ml cooking oil
 

For tomato chutney   

• 20 gms tomato sauce

• 5 gms mustard seeds

• 5 gms curry leaves

• 10 gms onion

• 5 ml white vinegar

• 5 gms sugar

• 3 gms salt

• 1 gms crushed pepper

• 5 ml oil


Method

Time required: 45 mins

1. Roast the oats till light brown colour. Powder it in a mixer and mix it with semolina.

2. Heat butter in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and wait till it splutters, add the vegetables and mix. Add the mixture into the oats mix along with curd, fruit salt and seasoning and rest for half hour.

3. Pour a ladle full into the idli pan in a steamer and steam for 15 mins .

4. For the chutney, heat oil, and add mustard seed, curry leaves first. Then add the sauce and rest of the ingredients.

5. Serve the idli with chutney powder, clarified butter to mix and tomato chutney.
