ICSK AMMAN ARTS FEST - “AURA 2016”

The Indian Community School, Kuwait – Amman, administered the award ceremony of the Arts Fest, AURA 2016 on Saturday 26^th November, 2016. The event was embellished by the Honourable Chief Guest, Mr. K K Pahel, the First Secretary, Consular – Community, Embassy of India in Kuwait along with the guests of honour Mr. Shaikh Abdul Rahiman (Honorary Chairman to the BOT, ICSK), Mr. A Amer Mohammed (Honorary Secretary), Mr. S N Raju (Honorary Treasurer), Mr. Deepak Sethi (Administrative and HR Officer) and Dr. V Binumon (Principal & Senior Administrator).

The Principal, Mr. Rajesh Nair extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, parents and participants who attended the function.

The Chief Guest Mr. K K Pahel, in his address appreciated and congratulated all the prize winners and encouraged all the children to enjoy childhood by learning as well as participating in all the activities organized by the school. He expressed his joy to be a part of the programme.

AURA – 2016 provided a platform to showcase the artistic expression and creativity of students and transformed them into epic artists. The vital features of AURA – 2016, comprised of 1,200 participants for 71 selected competitions and 461 prize winners.

The Chief Guest, Mr. K K Pahel awarded the prestigious ‘Kalathilak’ and ‘Kalapratibha’ titles, trophies and certificates to the winners in all the four categories.

As a token of gratitude and appreciation from ICSK Amman a memento was presented to the chief guest, Mr. K K Pahel. A vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal, Dr. Mary Isaac which marked the closure of the formal phase of the function.

The second phase of the function constituted prize distribution alternated by tremendous music and dance performances which mesmerized the audience. The rapturous applauses of the audience, acknowledging the talents of the winners adorned the place with a glorious atmosphere.

The persistent efforts of the co-ordinators Mrs. Gigi Unni and Mrs. Mobina Siju, the stewardship of all the teachers and the constant support of the parents and well wishers were appreciated.

The delightful evening came to an end leaving the essence of good relations and memories to stay forever in our hearts.
