ICSK AMMAN INVESTS SCHOOL SENATE 2019-2020
The Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman witnessed a solemn Investiture Ceremony on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 in the presence of the distinguished Chief Guest Dr. Susovana Sujit Nair, Medical Oncologist, Kuwait Cancer Control Centre and parents. The Investiture Ceremony is one of the significant occasion of the school where the newly elected senate members are officially vested with their responsibilities.
The ceremonial lamp was lit by the Chief Guest escorted by the Prinicipal Mr. Rajesh Nair. C, Senate Advisor Mrs. Jaya Nirmal, Academic Supervisor Mrs. Sumitra Nanda Kumar and Senate President Mannar Mohammed.
The Chief Guest invested the Senate Advisor, House Mentors, The Core Senate, The House Captains and Asst. House Captains with the badges of office. Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair administered the oath to the members of the Senate. This was followed by an inspirational song sung by the newly elected senate as an expression of keeping their promises with unity and sincerity.
In her address the Chief Guest emphasized on the qualities of the great leader. She inspired the newly elected members of the senate to shoulder their responsibilities with vigor. She mesmerized the gathering with a befitting melodious patriotic song and the gathering gave her a standing ovation.
The prefects of the four houses were invested with badges by their house mentors. The Senate President gave the acceptance speech which was followed by the vote of thanks proposed by the Vice President of the school senate Elvina Ann Mathew.
