ICSK Junior Celebrated 57th Foundation Day
ICSK JUNIOR CELEBRATED 57TH FOUNDATION DAY
57th Foundation Day of the Indian Community School Kuwait was celebrated with great enthusiasm in school premises through series of special assemblies. The vision of ICSK, “FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT“, was portrayed with immense fervor. Children conveyed the inception of the glorious institution with a great future. The highlight of the assembly was to pay a tribute to the Founder members of ICSK. Children performed a prayer dance and wished Happy Birthday to ICSK.
The theme was to glorify with pride, power and prestige on the symbolic achievement of the premier institution. Pictorial and print rich bulletin boards occupied an honor of place in the school premises. Participants talked about the importance of this day.
ICSK aims to be an institution of excellence with a difference. Children in the school are given a platform to excel and achieve full potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual development.
Students of class II presented the history of school. The skit that followed was symbolic when children from different states belonging to different cultures held candles and moved forward in unison to light the candle of knowledge. Thus, symbolically defining the aim of ICSK… LEADING THE NEW GENERATION from ignorance to the world of knowledge.
Principal in-charge Mrs. Sherly Dennis and Vice-Principal Mrs. Gomathy Murthy addressed the assembly and shared their good thoughts about the inception of this esteemed institution.
On this day of significance, certificates and trophy were awarded to the winners of Fancy Dress Competition.
