ICSK  JUNIOR CONDUCTED SUPER KID AWARD CEREMONY 2016

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior conducted the super kid award ceremony on Thursday 4^th February 2016. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Raj Raghupathy, Professor of Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University. Honorary Secretary to the Board of Trustees of ICSK Mr. Vijay Karayil also graced the occasion. Parent Representative to the Board of Trustees from ICSK Junior Mr. K.P. Suresh, PAC member Mr. Biju P Abraham and parents of the awardees were present for the solemn ceremony.

The ceremony began as the special invitees along with the Principal in-charge Mrs. Sherly Dennis and Vice-Principal Mrs. Gomathy Murthy lit the serene lamp.

Mrs. Sherly Dennis officially welcomed the gathering and briefly defined the objective of the one week activities planned and executed for the Super Kid event. Honorary Secretary to the Board Mr. Vijay Karayil, in his felicitation address, applauded the presence of Dr. Raj Raghupathy. He also whole-heartedly appreciated the Kindergarten teachers for their dedication, the involvement of young parents and the admirable talents of the tiny tots. He further added that a school is a place where "future" takes its birth. Esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Raj Raghupathy, a Professor,a scientist, a genius and a passionate lover of fine arts also addressed the audience. He concluded that ‘Super-Kid’ is all about destination of learning and discovery in the kindergarten section, talent search and reward is the core objective of the competitions. He concluded his address by declaring that at present ICSK is one of the best schools in Kuwait!

The Super Kids, the first and the second runner up from each class were awarded as they were called on stage along with their parents and the teacher in-charges. The Super Kids were adorned with crowns, sash and memento along with certificates.

To add color and variety to the ceremony some of our blooming buds were given a platform to showcase their talent in dance, oration and show and tell performance with utmost confidence.

The finale of the event was a heartiest vote of thanks delivered by the Vice-Principal Mrs. Gomathy Murthy. Her inert message that ‘good things do not end in ICSK Junior, they make a new beginning’. She further extended her deepest gratitude to all the guests present for the ceremony.
