IISM STUDENTS - EXPLORING THE MEDIA

An interactive session on the topic “UNDERSTANDING MEDIA” was conducted by Malayali Media Forum, for the students of Indian schools in Kuwait on 30^th January 2016. Five students of India International School got the prospect of attending the session which was handled by the resource person Mr. C. Gouridasan Nair, the Associate Editor, “The Hindu”. The lecture was divided into two sessions; Power point presentation along with lecture and the interactive session. He briefed the importance of media and the challenges faced by the media persons. He also described the process of editing the news. During the interactive session the students were given chance to clarify their doubts. The students found the lecture very informative and inspiring.  All the participants were given certificates and the programme came to an end with the photo session.
