ICSK KHAITAN CELEBRATES THE CONSTITUTION DAY OF INDIA
The Khaitan Branch of the Indian Community School Kuwait celebrated Constitutional Day on 26th November 2015. A special assembly was conducted by class VIII which gave an idea to the students about the constitution and their rights and duties as citizens. Charts were displayed in the whole school about information about the constitution.
Students read aloud the ‘Preamble’ of the constitution to all and reaffirmed their commitment towards its ethos. A speech on constitution was followed by a quiz in which all students actively participated. A Power Point presentation based on the ‘Indian Constitution’ was the highlight of the assembly. It recalled the human rights and freedom of Independent India. A constitution song presented by a group invigorated the students with patriotism.
The Principal of ICSK Khaitan Mr. K. G. Shirsath addressed the assembly and conveyed his greetings on Constitution Day. He explained to the students about the values they should follow to protect the constitution of their land. Celebrating the constitutional day will inspire students to rejuvenate the feeling of patriotism. An absolute metamorphosis from subject to citizen is the need of the times as we belong to a democratic nation.
