KINDERGARTEN SECTION OF ICSK JUNIOR CONDUCTED FANCY DRESS COMPETITION

The Indian Community School Junior Branch conducted an amazing Fancy Dress competition for LKG and UKG section. ‘Dare to dream’ was held on Wednesday 30^th September, 2015.The interest and enthusiasm with which children exhibited was clearly reflected through their costumes.

The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to give little ones an opportunity to come forward to express in the presence of their class-mates and the designated judges. For many of them this was a first-time experience!

The tiny tots dressed up to their fancies depicting renowned personalities such as Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, , Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Chacha Nehru, Mr. Narendra Modi, Sania Mirza, Jhansi Ki Rani,  Manmohan Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and a host of other community helpers as nurses, fireman, postman, mechanic, tailor, pilot, police woman, farmers, etc all weaving a magical spell.

The Principal in-charge Mrs. Sherly Dennis, on this occasion, appreciated all the participants and the parents for their innovative ideas and enormous efforts in presenting novel costumes. She mentioned that the school gives emphasis to the scholastic and co scholastic activities for the holistic development of children. She added with utmost happiness that all participants are winners.
