ICSK KHAITAN CELEBRATES 57TH FOUNDATION DAY OF SCHOOL
‘Men may come and men may goBut I go on forever.’
The Indian Community School Kuwait celebrated 57th Foundation Day on 5th May, 2015. Since then, generations of students have entered and exited the portals. ICSK Khaitan celebrated this glorious day with a special assembly. ICSK Khaitan students and staff wore black/blue and white colour combinations to bring back the founding year of 1959 back on the campus. On the occasion of our school’s birthday, Principal of ICSK Khaitan Mr.K.G.Shirsath and Vice Principal Dr. Mary Isaac cut the cake and offered it to the children.
The students presented a skit dressed up as the nine founders of ICSK. Through their act they presented the founding story of ICSK and depicted the hard work and dedication behind the setting up of the school. The PowerPoint presentation enhanced the skit. This was followed by a scintillating dance recital where the children danced to the golden melodies of 1950s and a solo song to commemorate the contemporary era. The highlight was an oath administered to the students by the Principal, eliciting loyalty to the almamater. He also congratulated all the participants and wished everyone a happy 57th Foundation Day. The management of ICSK too made the celebration joyous by distributing chocolates to all and conveying their greetings on this auspicious day.
