JOIE DE VIVRE 2015 – A   REPORT

FAIPS celebrated French day, « JOIE DE VIVRE » on 20th January 2015 in School Premises. The Events of the French day are conducted by the French students of class X of FAIPS along with their teachers. It was a fine cool weather. There was a sense of expectancy and excitement among the students before the commencement of the event. The French day was started with a grand inauguration with a spectacular parade of French characters and personalities. The parade was followed by a fusion dance which left the crowd spell bound by their amazing performance. The Day was filled with many different exciting events like French cuisine, mime, quiz, French songs, French personality, queue de vache, etc.. French students of classes VIII and IX took part actively in all these events. They brought out their talents and their skills in French. One of the event is T Shirt Designing was organized in the school for the first time which was appreciated by one and all. It brought out the best out of the students. The French students cooked very tasty French dishes and it was a beautiful display of some delicious French food. It was a journey that took all the students to France and they were so excited and enjoyed thoroughly every bit of it. There was enthusiastic participation of many French students who walked with many medals and prizes. The French day ended with one typical French event “Mime”. Students portrayed many social issues through this event and attracted everyone present with their wonderful presentation and their acting. Wow, what an amazing day we had this year on 20^th January. It gave us a memorable and unforgettable experience. It was a very good learning experience for all French students of class X in organizing a big event which was able to bring out their skills and talents and team work. It was a day to remember to all of us in FAIPS. Thanks to Principal and school management and all French teachers who made this day possible and unforgettable one.
