On your marks…. Get set…. Go….rang out the crisp commands and the athletes at the starting line sprang into action, determined to out perform each other and gain precious house points. The occasion was the 21st Annual Athletic Meet of Gulf Indian School.
The gala sports event was graced by our Chief Guest Mrs. Margaret Luttrell, Principal, Future Bilingual School for Girls, several Heads of schools in Kuwait, parents, well wishers and cheering students.
The sports day started off with a well organised March Past. The Chief Guest Mrs. Margaret Luttrell took the salute as the members of the four houses Sathya, Seva, Jyothi & Santhi symbolizing honesty, service, knowledge and peace respectively, marched to the drumbeats in perfect unison.
GIS Principal, Mrs. Shyamala Divakaran accorded a warm welcome to the guests after which the Chief Guest Mrs. Margaret Luttrell declared the meet open.
