INDIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CELEBRATED CHILDREN'S DAY
India International School Celebrated Children's day with fun and frolic on 12 and 13 November 2014.The days were marked with numerous entertainment programmes and competitions. A Fun Gala was organized for the students of classes I-VIII with a number of stalls providing a variety of entertainments like games, face painting, attractive mehendi designs, cartoons and comedy movies, DJ, yummy ice creams& snacks etc. Classes I&II were briefed about the life history of Chacha Nehru and the relevance of his birthday celebration .All the kids enthusiastically participated in the games organized by their zealous teachers. Musical chair, tailing the donkey and blowing balloons were the games mostly enjoyed by them. The children along with their talented teachers moved rhythmically on the dance floor in tune with the rocking music. The children were further reinforced by attractive gifts.
Special Assemblies were conducted by teachers which turned to be the highlight of the celebration. Student members of the primary Dance Club show cased their talents in front of the thrilled crowd. Jawaharlal Nehru’s portrait drawing competition also was conducted on the same day.
The celebration reached its zenith on 13 November 2014 as the senior Section teachers conducted the assembly with fun filled dance performances and reverberating songs. It was indeed an amazing occasion which transformed the school to a home of love, joy and creativity. The school Director Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya, and Principal Mr. F.M Basheer Ahmed addressed the assembly. Sr. Vice Principal Mrs. Narinder Kaur also graced the occasion. The whole event was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the Section Vice Principals.
