A day marking childhood, children’s day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. The Kindergarten wing at IIS campus was filled with éclat and fervour. This special day was graced by the presence of Director Mr.Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal Mr.F.M. Basheer Ahmed & Senior Vice Principal Mrs.Narinder Kaur. Celebrations began with a prayer by the teachers. It was followed by an inspiring speech by Principal Mr.F.M.Basheer Ahmed. After listening to appropriate tributes paid to Independent India’s first Prime minister and a short speech on the significance of this Red Letter Day on the school calendar the children were delighted to be entertained by a short & humorous retro dance drama from the yester year’s movie “Padossan”. And an intricate dance performance on a thought provoking song, “It’s my world my children”. The excitement & enjoyment of each student glorified every teacher of the wing. The programme was concluded by Mrs. Narinder Kaur congragulating Mrs.Yogeetha Thomas KG Head &Mrs.Nilofar Qazi Creative Head & their entire team of adroit teachers for their overwhelming performance.
