EXCITING SUMMER CAMP INAUGURATED AT ICSK

   
An exciting and stimulating summer camp was inaugurated at the Indian Community School, Kuwait on 8th June, 2014. The convener of the Summer Camp-2014 and Principal-in charge of ICSK Junior Branch, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, welcomed the participants to the summer camp. She said that the activities of the camp would not only keep the students fruitfully occupied during the vacations, but also enhance their personality.
   
Honorary Secretary to the Board of Trustees Mr. Vijay Karayil welcomed the participants and informed the parents that the activities of the camp had been designed to develop the physical and the mental faculties of the child during the summer vacations. The release of doves, the symbol of peace and harmony, by Mr. Vijay Karayil and Mr. Sherin Mani marked the inauguration of the summer camp 2014. Mr. Sherin Mani, honorary member to the Board of Trustees of the ICSK is the coordinator for the camp.
   

The summer camp 2014 will been organised from 8th June, 2014 to 9th July, 2014 by the Indian Community School and is open to all Indian students studying in classes LKG to XII. Activities like aerobics, dance, yoga, karate, swimming, basketball, chess, badminton, carom, table tennis, calligraphy, drawing and painting, acting and   music will be conducted during the summer camp. Children will be shown classic movies and will be taught the importance of values and morals to succeed in life. Apart from this, one picnic per week will be organised and a visit to the Scientific Center and Kidzania is also planned as part of this camp. Although the camp is open to all Indian children, the students of the ICSK are entitled to special discounts.
