Faips Holds Investiture Ceremony

On the 30^th of January 2014,the deserving young talents of FAIPS,DPS were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with commitment and confidence. The investiture ceremony thus marked the inauguration of the Junior Student Council for the academic year 2014-15.

The auspicious ceremony began with a musical rendition of a string of shlokas by the school choir. It was followed by a variety of cultural programmes including a Tap dance and an Arabic dance that enthralled the spectators. Ms.Chaitali Banerjee Roy, Special Correspondent Arab Times, Producer and Editor at Radio Kuwait, Principal, Ms. Anju Dheman ,Vice Principal, Mr.Ravi Ayanoli, Head Mistress, Ms.Vineetha Munshi, supervisors, along with teachers and parents of the office-bearers were present to bless the proceedings.

The new Junior Student Council members were handed over their offices of rank. The new Head Boy, Hitansh.P.Shukla administered the oath of office and the members of the council pledged to adhere to the values and principles upheld by the school. The newly elected Head Girl delivered a speech on behalf of the new student council. The programme concluded with inspiring speeches by the chief guest Ms.Chaitali.B.Roy and the Principal, Ms.Anju Dheman.  The Junior Student Council of FAIPS DPS is ready for another year of fruitful service.
