Suffocation killed an unidentified Kuwaiti woman in Kabad. According to reports, she burned coal to stay warm during the winter months. Security sources told Al-Rai that after a report was received from the Ministry of Interior, paramedics were rushed to the spot but could do little to save the woman. Her remains have been referred to forensics.

The security men said the woman was found in her bed inside a closed room with the coal burning in one of the corners of the room. She died of asphyxiation.
