The General Traffic Department held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Commerce in presence of Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh and Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Muhammad Mikhlif Al-Anzi, to reduce negative phenomenon of noise pollution in the country.

During the meeting it was decided to implement an intensive traffic campaign and set up checkpoints to impound violating vehicles who install most obnoxious exhausts. Companies who install and sell exhausts that cause annoying sounds.
