The Ministry of Interior decided to impose a 9 Kuwaiti dinar fee on any type of entry visa for Egyptians. This is in response to the decision of imposing a 30 dollars fee on every Kuwaiti entering Egypt.

Officers, soldiers and civilians working at the land and airport ports received a circular that included strict instructions that a fee of 9 dinars should be collected when issuing any type of visa to Egyptians.
