Viral news on visa transfer was not accurate
In a recent article in some newspapers and on social media, the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) said the news that workers employed by dummy or blocked companies could transfer their residency to legit employers was not accurate, reports Al-Seyassah.
It is clarified by the authority in a press release that the opening of labor grievances is based on articles and items found in the labor law and regulations issued by the authority, particularly administrative decision number 842/2015. 842/2015 regarding the transfer of employees to a new employer (sponsor) and its amendments.
PAM says that the items, regulations, and amendments to the labor law in this regard do not contain any information about the residency transfer contained in the circulating news.
