Smoking Will Be Banned In Enclosed Spaces

During a meeting that was presided over by member Fahd Al-Abduljader, the Municipal Council's Legal and Financial Committee proposed that the ban on smoking in enclosed and semi-enclosed spaces be approved.

Smoking will only be permitted in defined areas in compliance with the Environment and Family Law, according to a local Arabic newspaper citing municipal sources. The committee agreed to use the previously established process and to send the matter to the executive body and the legal division for their opinions.
