In an article in a local newspaper, it was reported that ten expat women and a doorkeeper would be deported from Kuwait for their involvement in immoral acts.

After a raid on a building covering the women up, the vice squad arrested the women, including an Asian keeper of the building, Al Anba reported, citing the ministry. Those convicted will be deported.

In an article Al Anba mentioned instructions that had been given to the Kuwaiti Criminal Security Sector to deal with prostitution offenses firmly and to deport any expatriate who is caught performing immoral acts without informing the authorities beforehand.

A recent crackdown on illegal expats by Kuwaiti cop has been carried out as part of efforts to expose violators of its residency and labour laws.

In the same newspaper last month, it was reported that Kuwaiti authorities are likely to fine sponsors of foreigners who entered Kuwait on visitor visas but did not depart in violation of rules. A 2 year ban on sponsoring visas could be imposed on those sponsors.
