Mr. F.M.Basheer Ahmed has Master’s Degree both in Commerce and in education. He also holds a post graduate diploma in Electronic Data Processing and Computer Management. His significant contribution to the field of education particularly at Secondary and Higher Secondary levels for over a period of 28 years is indeed commendable. He is largely instrumental in organizing programmes like–service training programmes, workshops, seminars, orientation and refresher courses which proved immensely beneficial for Faculty Development and enhancement of intellectual capability of students.

Some of his notable contributions are: workshop on management excellence on Education. Conducted by NIEPA and AEES(under DAE of India) training programmes for TGT in English and primary teachers in collaboration with NCERT, New Delhi/CIEFL, Hyderabad. His articles on socio-economic problems, sickness of small scale industries were featured in Economic Times and other reputed newspapers. He also spearheaded several Community Development programmes and conducted remedial classes for tribal children.

Mr.F.M.Basheer Ahmed, received the prestigious National Award to Teachers-from Mrs.Prathibha Devisingh Patil, the President of the Republic of India in a ceremonial function held on 5^th September, 2007 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, India.  He cherished remarkable moment when he was called at the Prime Minister’s residence along with the other national awardees.

The National Award instituted by the Government of India carries a silver medal, a certificate and a cash award. The award is given in public recognition to the community as a teacher of outstanding merit in honour of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India, a renowned philosopher and a teacher.MES community is delighted at the recognition of their meritorious services of Mr.F.M.Basheer Ahmed by the Ministry of Human Resources Development which has conferred this National Award on him.

MES Governing Body regards the award to the MES Principal as a proud moment and a rare honour coming to the institution. The central Institute of General knowledge learning was proud to present principal’s Award to him in the year 2006.

His efforts in raising funds for alleviating the sufferings of the tsunami victims and the recent earthquake victims both in India and Pakistan won the appreciation from the Prime Minister’s Office.

At present Mr.F.M.Basheer Ahmed is working as a principal in India International School, Kuwait.

As the principal of this great edifice of learning, my aim is to render glorious service to the student’s community and inculcate in them the spirit of scientific temper, character building and creating a vision to walk on the road of excellence.
