Entries invited for C.V. Raman Scientist Award

 

Kochi: The St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research, St. Peter’s University, called for nominations from persons who have made conspicuously important and outstanding contribution to human knowledge and progress, fundamental or applied, in particular field of the endeavor for the so called  "Sir C.V. Raman Scientist Award”.
 
Eligibility
  1. The innovation should either be a new product, process or an improvement thereof so as to increase its utility by enhancing advantages and improvement in performance for benefit of the society.
  2. Publications in reputed Journals and Patents.
  3. Mere theoretical hypothesis, concepts still in an idea stage and perceptions like that of perpetual motion machines are not eligible for consideration.
  4. ge limit: below 45 years.
  5. Details of the Award: The award carries a cash of Rs.50000/- and a citation.

Four copies of Application in bound form and other enclosures may be submitted to The Dean (R&D) St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research, St. Peter’s University, Avadi, Chennai-600 054 on or before 31st October, 2015.
