Eng. Sameer Badruddin Chougle of Mangaf, Ahmadi Governorate, Kuwait was named to Quality Progress magazine’s “40 New Voices of Quality” list, which recognizes individuals under 40 who are making a difference in their organizations.
Eng. Chougle at Combined Group Contracting Co., Ardiya, Kuwait, joins others from around the world on the inaugural recognition, published in the November issue of Quality Progress, published by ASQ, the global leader in quality.
The “40 New Voices of Quality” list coincides with World Quality Month, a celebration every November of quality and how it makes a difference in the world.

“I feel humbled and really, it’s an honor to be named as one of the top 40 quality professionals under 40,” Chougle, 33, said. “Quality is important worldwide as it helps improve products and services, often saving companies significant amounts of money. As a result, quality makes our businesses, our organizations, and our world a better place.”The list was compiled by Quality Progress editors and vetted by ASQ’s Young Professionals Network. Quality Progress collected nominations that were scored by the Young Professionals Network based on personal achievements, community impact, and personal information, including whether the nominee is honest and impartial in serving their employer, customers, clients, and the general public.

“Given that this is the first time anyone has ever set out to identify and recognize the new voices of quality, we weren’t sure what to expect,” said Seiche Sanders, executive editor and associate publisher of Quality Progress. ”We couldn’t be more thrilled with the enthusiastic response, much less the quality of the candidates that surfaced. I congratulate Sameer for putting a face to the passion, commitment and leadership that will shape the future of the quality profession.”

The list includes quality professionals from throughout the world, and includes engineers, professors, company presidents and vice presidents, and physicians, among others.
