Poojavarshini Raja won the title in a Mega Dance Competition.

India youth society (IYS) conducted a mega dance competition in Cambridge school On 27.04.2012 evening on the name of  “Dhoom Machale” to bring out the dancing talent of Indians in Kuwait which was judged by the Bollywood dancing judge and choreographer ‘Dance India Dance’ fame Terence Lewis.

The competition had different levels according to the age group of the contestant such as junior, pre senior & senior for the age group between 8 to 17 years.

Poojavarshini Raja participated in the Pre Senior’s level. In the prelims, there were nearly 30 Kids and seven was selected as the finalists and she was one among them. The seven finalist staged their talent in the stage on 27.04.2012. Pooja performed semi classical for “Aame je tumor” which got a huge applause.

At the end, Pooja Varshini was awarded “WINNER” title  for pre seniors level by the Judge Terence Lewis who mentioned  that  her performance  touched his heart and blessed Pooja to grow more and more with dance.
