HINDI DIWAS CELEBRATIONS AT IISM
The official language of Indian constitution with the Devanagari script, Hindi, is annually celebrated on 14 September as Hindi Diwas.
A patriotic reminder with common roots and unity, Hindi took center stage at IISM in a special assembly as it showcased it's might with songs, dance, speech and report. Arabic speaking students and teachers participated with their speaking skills enthralling the audience.
Recitation was held across grades III, IV and V as competition. Activities such as names of birds for grade III, names of colours of a rainbow for grade IV and shells and pebbles found from sea shore to be made into photo frames and jewellery for grade V were conducted as part of the celebration. All activities were conducted with Hindi as the medium of instruction, discussion and interaction.
