GRANDPARENTS’ DAY CELEBRATED AT ICSK JUNIOR

On Wednesday 7^th September 2016, ICSK Junior celebrated Grandparents Day.  It was a special day to honour the grandparents. 

Supervisor of the kindergarten section, Mrs. Shafika Yunus welcomed the gathering with a beautiful poem. She spoke about the unconditional love and comfort the grandparents give to their off springs. Principal In-charge, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, in her key note address expressed the vital role played by grandparents in the life of a child.

Our tiny tots in colourful attires entertained the audience with foot tapping dances and a melodious group song.  The event brought twinkle in the eyes of Grandparents. All grandparents were given a chance to interact with one another which was followed by two games.  All the winners were awarded. Vice-Principal Mrs. Gomathy Murthy, delivered heartiest vote of thanks for yet another successful event in school! Light refreshment was arranged for the invites. This was followed by a group photo. All grandparents left the portals of the school with thank you card and chocolate.
