PARENTS ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR LKG HELD IN ICSK-AMMAN

              “A great education begins with a great kindergarten experience.”

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman, welcomed the new batch of LKG students for the academic year 2016-17 on 10^th April, 2016. All the parents were invited to attend the orientation programme for a positive start to their school journey.

Mr. Rajesh Nair C., Principal of the school, warmly greeted the parents and the students and advised them to encourage their child to actively participate in all the activities conducted by the school. He also informed the parents that the school would be an exciting, successful and happy experience for the little ones.        The students of UKG entertained the gathering with a stunning and mind blowing folk dance. Supervisor Mrs. Julie Anthony illustrated the rules and regulations of the school. She also highlighted the importance of the parents’ contribution towards early learning and the programmes that will be conducted in the current year. During the interactive session with the parents, all the doubts and queries were clarified. The school Vice-Principal Dr. Mary Isaac proposed the vote of thanks and conveyed a message to the parents to spend more time and listen to their children about the day to day activities.

All the parents along with their children were guided to their respective classrooms, to collect the I. D. Cards and books. Students entered their new colourful and bright class rooms for the first time. Children wore a beautiful smile on their faces as they received a colourful balloon and chocolates from their respective teachers.

We aspire to continue making the first day in the classroom a happy experience for all pre-primary children.
