ICSK Amman Farewell to Class 10 Batch
ICSK AMMAN BID ADIEU TO CLASS X BATCH 2015-2016
A grand farewell “NEVER SAY GOODBYE” was organized on the 24th February, 2016 for the outgoing students of Class X 2015-16 in an emotionally surcharged atmosphere in the auditorium of Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman branch. The function began with the traditional lighting of the lamp to invoke divine blessings for a bright future of 182students that will be passing out of Amman branch this year.
School’s Vice-President Tania Thankam welcomed the outgoing students. In a nostalgic speech, the School President Adithya Narayan reminisced about his school life through the various ups and downs and successes. He stressed on the importance of school life in shaping one’s destiny. Further, he thanked all the teachers for their endearing efforts in shaping up the destiny of every child and for being there when it mattered.
Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair conveyed his best wishes to the outgoing students for success and accomplishment in all their future endeavors. He also expressed hope that every student will continue to do their best. Further, he informed the students that the outgoing students would be always welcome to visit the school.
A quote by late Dr. APJ Kalam “Be Unique Be Remembered” provided inspiration for all present.
Class IX students staged dance and music programme to entertain the seniors. Students of class X took turns to come to the dais and thank their juniors and faculty for all the guidance and affection. On this occasion, the students of ICSK Amman looked back at wonderful years they spent at ICSK Amman.
Academic Supervisor Mrs. Sumitra Nandakumar and Class Teachers of X, in their addresses, conveyed their best wishes to the students for their bright future. As token of love and appreciation, the senate members presented mementos to all the teachers of class X. On behalf of the students of Class IX, mementos were presented to the outgoing students. Assistant Arts Club Secretary Rachel Edwin proposed the vote of thanks. Senate Advisor Mrs. Aleyamma Satheesh, in her concluding address, thanked all the staff members and students of class IX for the valuable contribution. She wished the outgoing students the very best for life and advised them to be righteous in their actions and dignified in their ways.
The function will long be cherished in the memories of this outgoing batch of class X Amman 2015-16.
