Mr. SOORYA KRISHNAMURTHY, A RENOWNED CULTURAL ACTIVIST AND PHILANTHROPIST, VISITS ICSK AMMAN

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman branch had the unique privilege of receiving Mr. Soorya Krishnamurthy, the founder of Soorya Stage and Film Society, the Chairman of Kerala Sangetha Nataka Academy and festival director, International Theatre Kerala on February 11, 2016. He spent time and interacted with the students.  He was welcomed in the school by Mr. Vijay Karayil, Hon. Secretary BOT, ICSK; Mr. Rajesh Nair.C, Principal ICSK Amman and Dr. Mary Issac, Vice-Principal, ICSK Amman.

A team of ICSK Amman students comprising Mriga Arora, Shivani Rajiv Menon, Beneeta, Aswathi, Diya Ajay and Aiswarya interviewed Mr. Krishnamurthy.  He explained to them the concept of the theatre of freedom.  He also expounded Soorya’s aim at dissemination of the rich Indian culture and achieving “Integration through culture”.
