Republic Day Celebration Held At IISM
The67thRepublic Day ofIndia was celebrated inall its solemnity andgrandeuratIndia InternationalSchoolMangafon25th January 2016. The childrenwhowerecladinwhite andwith flag colour accessoriespledged themselvestoupholdthehonour, integrity, diversityand uniquenessofIndia. Specialassemblieswereconducted byallthe sectionsoftheschool with greatpomp and show. Variouscompetitions like Elocution, BookMark Making, Tricolour SandwichMaking, Fancy Dress, Declamation,Tricolour BadgeandFlag Making, PatrioticSongCompetitionetc. were heldwiththethemes related toIndia and theRepublic Day.
TheFlag formationwith green,orange andwhiteballoons by thePrimary Section was the mostattractiveeventofthe day. The assemblieswerealsomarked by theRepublic Day Speech,Skit,Fashionshowwith thetheme ‘statesofIndia’and tableauinwhich students dresseduplikeBharat Mata,Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru,Sardar VallabhaiPatelandso on. Theschoolchoir presentedthepatrioticsong͞BharatHumkoJaansepyarahai.Thewholeschooljoined thechoirand thesongreverberatedinthesurroundings.Arowofspellbinding danceperformanceslike BharatNatyam,Classical group danceand aMedleydance alsoaddedto the graceoftheoccasion. The schoolPrincipaladdressed thegathering andconveyed theRepublicDay message. The eventwasgraced bythe schoolDirectorMr.Malayil Moosa KoyaandtheVice Principals.
