Ethics, Manners and Etiquettes week at IISM KG
“Manners are a sensitive awareness of the feeling of others.”

Manners are an important part of human nature and life, good manners earns you respect and dignity. Good manners also lead to a good habit which in turn leads to individual growths. Individual growth leads to overall development of the society. Inculcating good manners and etiquettes at an early age builds a lifelong disposition. Parents and teachers together can instill these qualities in children to make them role models for the society. Good manners help children to give respect and get respect. Focusing on this, a school shoulders a great responsibility in developing a well mannered generation.
Adhering to the very concept, Kindergarten world of IISM organized “Ethics, Manners and Etiquettes “ week from 03.05.2015 to 7.05.2015.The main ideology at IISM is to take manners and etiquettes to rather higher level than mere “Thank you” and “Please”.
During the morning assembly teachers discussed the acceptable behavior and table manners. They emphasized that everyone should be polite and courteous and never be rude. Teachers enacted a skit and narrated stories which helped children realize that a ‘thank you’, a ‘smile’, a ‘helping hand’, a ‘greeting’ and an ‘apology’ spread happiness and create harmony.
On this occasion Principal Mr. Basheer Ahmed appreciated KG supervisor Mrs. Nilofar Qazi and the team of teachers for implanting ethics, manners and etiquettes in the young minds of tiny buddies.
