PERSONAL FINANCE TRAINING  PROGRAMME BY INJAZ

TRAINING FUTURE PERSONELS WITH AN EDGE OVER FINANCE MANAGEMENT

 The Indian Community School, Senior organized a five day training program in association with INJAZ (Kuwait), a sister concern of Junior Achievement Worldwide(US). The purpose of the training was to equip students with skills and knowledge while presuming  different roles in the society.

The opening ceremony was conducted on 21st April 2015 at the school auditorium, in the presence of dignitaries . The Vice Chairman Mr. Bobby Mathew, Mr. Ajay George member of BOT, Mrs. Ruba Najjia Programme Manager (INJAZ) , Mrs. Lama Ghannam Prog Coordinator (INJAZ), Dr. V. Binumon Principal (ICSK Senior) , Dr. Sam T. Kuruvilla Vice Principal (ICSK Senior), Mrs Usha Ramasubramanian (HOD - Commerce Dept ) were present at the occasion. The Principal of ICSK  Senior branch, Dr. V. Binumon, in his welcome address exhorted  the students to strive for an overall achievement in order to gain success on a personal level and for a professional progress. Mr. Bobby Mathew, in his address, emphasised on effective financial planning to make future productive and profitable .

A slide show was presented by Mrs. Ruba Najia & Mrs Lama Ghannam from INJAZ  about the activities of the organization undertaken in Kuwait. INJAZ delivers educational programs on entrepreneurial and leadership skills aimed at inspiring and educating future generations. The personal Finance Program is designed to give high school students a hand on practical introduction to personal finance, credit & debt, savings and investment and budgeting. The program offers students oppurtunity to plan for their financial success in future. Mrs Usha Ramasubramanian, in her vote of thanks,  motivated students to take advantage of the session to the utmost level.

Five sessions of the  JA Personal Finance training was conducted by volunteers of  INJAZ . 

Each session incorporated topics like Planning for their future, saving for life, budgeting, credit and debt choices and recognizing potential risks while being a savvy consumer.160 students of Class XII  comprising of 40 students each participated in the training. Each student was  awarded with certificate from Junior Achievement worldwide (US). The sessions concluded on 29th April 2015.
