ICSK WELCOMES INDIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN MR. JOSE K MANI

The Indian Community School Kuwait had the magnificent opportunity of receiving the young and dynamic Indian politician and Member of Parliament from the Kottayam constituency of Kerala, India, Mr. Jose K Mani on Thursday 8th January, 2015. He was accorded a grand reception by the Honorary Secretary of the Board of Trustees Mr. Vijay Karayil, other Members of the Board of Trustees, Members of the Parent Advisory Council, Principal Dr. V Binumon, staff and students of the ICSK. He held an interactive session with some students of the Senior school and answered their questions regarding the current development and employment opportunities in India. The afternoon session of the Senior school invited him for their assembly and he gave away the charity fund collected by the students and staff to sick and needy. This charity fund is collected by the students of each class by making a voluntary donation on their birthdays. When informed about the same, Mr. Jose K Mani showered his praises on the students for this gesture and said ‘We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give’. In his address, he expressed his happiness on being present at ICSK and thanked the management for the grand welcome.

It was indeed a moment of pride for receiving a person of such stature at the school campus.
