PARADIGM 2014- MEGA ARTS FEST CONCLUDES AT ICSK SENIOR

‘Paradigm 2014’, the Mega Arts Fest of the Indian Community School Kuwait, Senior Branch was conducted with great energy and enthusiasm on the 15^th and 16^th November, 2014, at the Senior School campus. The event started with a grand inaugural ceremony. Ms Bernardetta Gravili, the Commercial attaché of Italy was the chief guest for the occasion. The Guest of Honour Advocate Jithesh, an eminent speed cartoonist from India, declared the arts fest open. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Bobby Mathew, the Honorary Vice-Chairman to the ICSK Board of Trustees and Mr. Vijay Karayil, the Honorary Secretary to the Board. The chief guest expressed her immense pleasure at the opportunity to be present at the unique event where the various art forms are honored.  Advocate Jithesh showcased his artistic excellence that spell-bound the audience. Mr. Bobby Mathew and Mr. Vijay Karayil spoke on the occasion extending their appreciation and well wishes for the grand event. The Principal of ICSK Senior Dr. V .Binumon delivered the welcome address to the gathering.
The Mega event began well with prayers and words of wisdom from the guests. ‘Paradigm 2014’ turned to be a grand event with the active participation of students, support of ICSK management , skillful coordination by the Principal, dedicated teamwork of the teachers and the encouragement of the parents.

Paradigm 2014 was conducted in two stages with more than sixty different on-stage and off-stage items. Excellent musical, oratory, literary and artistic skills of the participants astonished the judges and mesmerised the audience.

Dance and drama filled the stages with music in the air and also in the souls of students. Two days of cultural extravaganza opened up large opportunity for the students to showcase their talents in various fields of art.

The Mega event culminated with the Valedictory Ceremony held at the ICSK Senior school auditorium on Saturday 16^th of November, 2014 .Awards were given out to the winners at the function. The highest individual male  achiever was awarded with the Kalaprathiba title and the highest individual female achiever was awarded with the title of Kalathilak in both the categories. In category 5, Master Jason Prem D' Almedia of class 12 -A secured the title of Kalapratibha and Miss Aadira Gopakumar of class 11-E was awarded with the title of Kalthilak. In Category 4, Master Moses Kurien Mathew of class 8- A secured  the Kalapratiba and Miss Nisreen Sabir of class 10-D was  awarded with the Kalatilakam. Based on the overall scores,House points were also awarded and Shanti House was awarded as the best house with the highest points. All the awards were graciously presented to the beaming winners by Mr. Bobby Mathew and Mr. Vijay Karayil in the presence of Dr. V. Binumon. The welcome address epitomising the true spirit and meaning was delivered by Dr. Sam .T.Kuruvilla, the Vice-Principal of ICSK Senior. The skillful coordination of the mega event was meticulously carried out by the Joint Convener for the event Mr.Jacob George and the assistant joint Convener Ms. Jayabala Jayram. Ms Jayabala delivered the vote of thanks expressing sincere gratitude to all the guests, the ICSK management, Principal, students and the fraternity of ICSK for the smooth and successful conduct of the Mega Event.
