ICSK KHAITAN CELEBRATES WORLD EARTH DAY
World earth Day was celebrated at the ICSK Khaitan campus on 21st April 2014. Students of class VIII presented a special assembly on this occasion. The highlight of the assembly was the distribution of earth day badges, rendition of special earth day song, planting of saplings and the Earth Day pledge. The Principal in his address highlighted on the necessity to save our mother earth and her resources.
It will be a weeklong celebration to create awareness among children on the significance of Earth Day. Various competitions like poster making, collage making and badge making are being organized as house wise competitions during this week.
Different kinds of flowered saplings were planted on this occasion by the Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and class monitors of various classes to enhance the beauty of the campus. Students were asked to adopt and take care of a sapling for their class.
