ICSK Amman LKG orientation day
ICSK AMMAN WELCOMES NEW BATCH OF LKG STUDENTS
The new academic session for the LKG classes, commenced on 15th April, 2014, at the ICSK Amman Branch. All the children and the parents were invited to attend an orientation session especially organised to give the parents a better understanding of the school. The UKG students, dressed as their favourite cartoon character, welcomed the new batch of LKG students. The auditorium was beautifully decorated. The bubbly Mickey Mouse and Tom & Jerry characters could be seen putting the new entrants at ease in the new environment.
Principal of ICSK Amman Mr. Rajesh Nair warmly welcomed the parents and the students. He advised the parents to spend more time with the children and listen to them. He also narrated a wonderful story about the three angels that God has gifted to the little ones i.e. Father, Mother and Teacher.
Supervisor Mrs. Julie Anthony briefed the parents and the students about the school rules, and highlighted the importance of the parent’s contribution towards the class activities. The class teachers of LKG introduced themselves to the parents and the children.
During the interactive session with the parents, Vice-Principal Mrs. Gayatri Ravindran clarified all the anxieties and doubts expressed by the parents.
As the tiny tots of LKG stepped into the world of education with excitement and wonder, they were guided to their classrooms with their class teachers. Students were excited to see their colourful and attractive classrooms for the first time. The friendly environment cheered the students and the balloons and chocolates distributed to them brought a smile to their faces.
The first day of the school is a milestone for parents and students that will be cherished for the rest of their lives.
