ICSK AMMAN CONDUCTS SEMINAR FOR CAREERS IN COMMERCE FIELD

The Indian Community School, Kuwait, Amman branch, organised a highly informative career guidance seminar for the students of Class 9^th and 10^th on 27^th November, 2013. The seminar was conducted to inform the students about the various commerce-related career opportunities. The seminar was presented by Mr. Dinesh Kamath, Honorary Treasurer to the ICSK Board of Trustees and was initiated by the Staff and student welfare committee of the ICSK Board.

Principal, Amman Branch, Mr.Rajesh Nair C. set the stage for Mr. Dinesh Kamath by welcoming the audience. Mr. Dinesh Kamath captivated the audience with his winsomepersonality and encouraged the students to take their careers seriously. He also welcomed doubts from students during the talk.

 

In his talk, he informed students about the various choices available if they chose to pursue their studies in the field of commerce. He outlined the job-descriptions and growth opportunities on selecting careers like CA, CFA, MBA among others. He also addressed common questions related to career in commerce. His talk was highly engrossing, informative and interactive. It aptly addressed the important questions in the minds of children related to their careers.

 

Academic Supervisor Mrs. Sumitra Nandakumar proposed the vote of thanks and thanked the school management for providing this opportunity to students. The students can surely make a well-informed choice related to their careers and benefit from such programmes
