ICSK JUNIOR CELEBRATES KUWAIT NATIONAL DAY & LIBERATION DAY
In celebration of Kuwait National Day and the Liberation Day, the Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior Branch, arranged special assemblies to highlight the iconic history behind the Independence of Kuwait. The assembly commenced with the Islamic prayer and students sang the Kuwait National Anthem with intense fervor. Rejoicing in the spirit of patriotism and unity, students of the Branch put up special features in the assembly, depicting the rich cultural heritage of Kuwait. Students, through demonstration, were reminded on the leaders of Kuwait, the significance of pearl diving and the Kuwait Towers - the landmarks of the prosperous state. Participation of students in traditional music and dance vibrated the Junior Branch with positive energy symbolizing the victory of Liberation of Kuwait from Iraqi invasion. Throngs of students in the school from LKG to class VI were seen in attires of the colors of National flag in participation with the country’s spirit in celebration. There was a huge rejoice and passion in the premises of the school. The Kuwait flag is displayed in the building as a mark of honor for a benevolent Government. Children were asked to repeat ‘LONG LIVE THE AMIR AND LONG LIVE KUWAIT’. A rich learning experience indeed for all students as Arabic and Kuwait Social Studies is a part of their course study in school.
