India International School Bids an Avid Farewell to IIS Students
Zealous children of class XI welcomed their seniors. It was a bewildering array to witness the enthusiastic juniors escorting their seniors beautifully clad to their respective seats. The machinated event commenced with a ‘welcome song’ followed by a presentation which was a walk through along their journey in IIS all these years. The presentation displayed their pictures in free style and familiarized us with the nick names given to them by their friends. It was a delightful experience to one and all. The principal F.M Basheer Ahmed encouraged the children with an inspirational speech and highlighted this through a presentation which included wise saying of learned lores like A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Mahatma Gandhi which definitely a boost for their future. As it too included the laurels honoured by the Government of India in the form of Bharat Ratna to Mr. Sachin Tendulkar and C.N. Rao. Each and every one was honoured with mementos and gift. Thanks to the management for their care and love towards their outgoing batch.
The Director Malayil Moosa Koya showered his blessings and wished them good luck for their future endeavors. All the girls of class XI performed a thundering dance fusion which was awesome and entertaining. Boys proved themselves at par with the girls displaying an electrifying performance. It will surely be a memorable and unforgettable day. The students involved themselves in various games which were full of fun and frolic. Spot prizes were given to the winners. Miss Shaima Ayub (Sports Secretary) astonished every single soul with speech wherein she showed concern and gratefulness towards each and every teacher present and the one who had taught them in previous years and had left the institution too. Master Hansen (Head boy) expressed his agony of parting with the school shortly. Last but not the least Sr. Vice Principal Mrs. Narinder Kaur blessed the children and on behalf of IXth students Hifza Razak gave vote of thanks.
The programme came to an end with a sumptuous lunch. Each and every one was replete.
