First Advisor to the Kuwait Cricket Board & IFL President M.A. Asad Khan attends DP World ILT20 2025–26 Inaugural Ceremony in Dubai

In a significant representation for Kuwait’s cricketing community, IFL President Mr. M.A. Asad Khan, First Advisor to the Kuwait Cricket Board, attended the DP World International League T20 (DP-ILT20) 2025–26 inaugural ceremonies held recently in Dubai. His presence came upon official invitation from the DP-ILT20 management, highlighting the strengthening ties and growing collaboration between cricketing bodies across the region.

The DP World ILT20 has rapidly emerged as one of the world’s premier franchise cricket tournaments, attracting top-tier international talent and providing a high-profile platform for emerging regional players. The league, held annually in the United Arab Emirates, features six dynamic franchises: Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriors.

This year’s opening ceremony celebrated the league’s expanding global footprint, bringing together cricket officials, franchise leaders, players, and dignitaries from across the cricketing world. Mr. Asad Khan’s participation underscored Kuwait’s growing engagement with major cricketing developments and its commitment to building relationships with international leagues.
