Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel held a crucial meeting with representatives of bottled water factories to address current market conditions and the rising demand for bottled water in Kuwait.

Minister Al-Ajeel emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting local water producers by removing obstacles that hinder their operations. He highlighted coordination efforts between the ministry and other government agencies to ensure uninterrupted water supply and stable market conditions.

Al-Ajeel issued a strong warning against any attempts to manipulate bottled water prices. He affirmed that the ministry will intensify inspections and monitor the market closely, ensuring strict action against any violations.

Representatives of bottled water factories assured the minister that all production units are fully operational. They reiterated their commitment to supporting national interests and maintaining the availability of bottled water at consistent prices.

The Ministry of Commerce reassured residents that bottled water is widely available across retail outlets, including cooperative societies and supermarkets. It confirmed that warehouses hold large reserves of bottled water and there are no signs of supply chain disruptions.

Commercial inspection teams are conducting daily visits to monitor the prices and availability of water and essential goods. These measures are aimed at maintaining price stability and continuous availability in the Kuwaiti market.
