Ultra 98 Octane Gasoline in Kuwait Is Now Only 200 Fils Per Liter

Starting January 1, 2025, the price of Ultra 98 Octane gasoline will be reduced to 200 fils per liter, down from the previous rate of 205 fils per liter. This price cut is part of a series of subsidy adjustments made by the committee responsible for reviewing state subsidies.

Impact on Other Fuel Prices

In addition to the reduction in Ultra 98 Octane gasoline prices, the committee has kept the prices of other fuels unchanged. The price of Premium 91 Octane gasoline remains at 85 fils per liter, Special 95 Octane at 105 fils per liter, and both diesel and kerosene are priced at 115 fils per liter.

State Efforts in Fuel Price Regulation

This decision reflects the ongoing efforts of the Kuwaiti government to regulate fuel prices while balancing necessary subsidy adjustments. The aim is to ensure that fuel costs remain manageable for the public while promoting fair market conditions.
